as far as longtravel, turn to mcneil offroad

I am lifted 33's with 2 wheel drive. how much lift and how much money?>

for long travel you could go with mcniel or the dixon bros, but thats gunna be $4000 plus with coil overs. Camburg might cost a little less, but thats about it

did all of mine with tires for well under $1000

Camburg a little less...uhh.. wrong. from their site, 3500 parts only, 7000 installed.

If you are serious, you should be prepared to spend 800-1500 on shocks. parts will run between 2500-5000. Plus Labor and install 1000-2000. yeah, add it up plus all the little things that you dont think about.

For the camburg option, i was just trying to give him the lowest price possible, not for the full on A arm kit. I was talknig about the 5.5 system with the race spindle, without all new arms and ect

what kind of lift did you get for your 2wd other than 7"

a long travel kit is going to lift it abotu that much.... if you jsut wnat a regualr lift, you can get spindles, do a torsion bar twist or a bodylift and or all 3, rembmer however it is not a longtravel kit......

i have about $4500 ill save some more money, i can do the labor myself so that cuts that price down

i could only find i beam set ups at mcneil?

for $1000 he doesnt have a long travel suspension, probably has spindles, torsion twist, soa, shackles or add a leafs and possibly a body lift

if you are competent on the install/fab, 4500 will be a good start. Mcneil does have a kit out, my buddy is getting if for his edge. you best bet is to call around to shops and ask if the have a Lt kit available for the edge/explorer (they are the same). i dont know about up your way, but down south you can look into...camburg, BTF, Dixon, Mcneil, Blitscrieg, alliance fab. I know they all have kits that will work.

Blitzerkrieg's LT expo is sweet...i've seen it in person and it's no joke
