Lift-Kit Possiblities

I am planning on installing a lift-kit to my 97 Explorer 4-door Eddie Bauer. I was wondering what the cheapest lift-kit out there is? If anyone knows. Thanks

Does your 97 have air ride suspension?
How much lift are you looking for?

The cheapest is to do a torsion twist up front and longer shackles in the rear, like under $200 with alignment, will get you alomst 2" of lift.

What do you want lift for? larger tires? serious off roading? looks?

Unfortunatley with the IFS the words cheap and lift do not go together for anything over this 2" torsio twist.

Also this has been convered so many times on this forum it is not even funny, if you try a simple search you can read for days.

It would help to know a little more about your truck however, is it a 5.0L AWD?
Does it have air suspension?
