What you would need are coil spring spacers. There is a wonderful search feature built into this site that you may want to try.

If you're unfamiliar with how to use it check out the new user's forum and it will explain in detail how to effectively search the site for answers.

thank you for the reply and im going to get familiar. an the guy at auto zone told me shock spacers but i was thinking of coil spring spacers to.

If you are only doing coil spacers, usually they are 2" or less, typically you will not need shock spacers. And shock spacers alone will not net any amount of lift because shocks don't support the weight of the vehicle, they only dampen the movement of the suspension. They guy at autozone (and just about every autozone, advance auto, pep boys, etc) is a moron. They normally hire kids who can just run a computer but don't know anything about cars.

thank you i only need about 2 in of lift. that helps out alot

Another good cheap way to lift yours would be f150 coil spring seats you can get them at the junk yard for prolly less than $20 they are alot better than the little rubber spacers just search for them in the search bar there are tons of threads on them

just remember when you do a lift you have to do alignment.. so i guess your question should be to your self on how much you want to spend..

Suspension lift, you get into needing bigger shocks in front and back, then extended brake lines, alignment etc blablabla...

coil spacer will make you need an eccentric adjustments done.. here in ohio that is 300.00 alignment.... there is tons of different brands you can research... if your on a money budget.. do a body lift... a body lift can be done in 1-3" never more then 3" and wont need an alignment... most body lifts are way cheaper then a suspension lift of any type.

you can search ebay for new in open box body lifts for about 200 and even comes with extended steering knuckle...

also depends on what size tire your trying to clear and why you want the lift.. just search the forum and youll find a lot of answer.. btw i asked this my self a while back.. so im just sharing the info... i did the spacers.. lasted a week! and ended up doing a full correct lift!

This is with spacers and longer shocks.

and warrior shackles in the rear and longer shocks..
RearShocks-1.jpg

those lasted a few weeks.. then went with a 4" lift and 31s

that lasted a few months and went with 33s and fender trimming.. lifting is contagious once you start youll want to keep modding

It's true I started out with shackles and the little rubber cubes that go in the springs then the f150 spring seats then 3" body and now I'm sas 11.5 inches of total lift and 37 14.5 17 tires
