I think it will take pulling/pounding. That part has been on for 10 years now....
I'm trying to remember what else held on the spindle. I think there's a bolt near the top that "traps" in the upper post. Did you get that?
Karl

yup i got that bolt and the lower ball joint bolt and the tierod bolt but i can't get anything to budge, do i need to crank the torsion bar down to releave pressure on the control arm or anything? and how exactly does the spindle come out?does the whole thing just slide down?

It's been a couple of years, but I remember pulling everything off, and having to bang a little bit after that.
Karl

what are you actually banging and in what direction?

you got off the bolts, then its jsut stuck.... jsut start hitting things where the bolts are or supposed to be.... i lifted my toyota via spindles, and one i got all that stuff off, the preload on the tbar shot the whole truck down!

When i put mine on i used a pickle fork to get it off but i was replacing my entire front suspensions any ways.

if your talking about the bolts just being stuck in the holes, hit the part the bolt passes through with a hammer, i did mine easily, i had a tie-rod/ pitman arm remover press thingy... you can get them at harbor freight for under $10.... or if you wnat soem higher quality stuff, you can get them from any of the big name tool companies as well, they jsut cost more

ok i got it out but what about wire running to the spindle is that for the abs or something? how does that come out

yes thats the wire for the abs sensor... it is threaded in, it jsut unscrews

i unscrewed the bolt holding it in but its still won't come out?????, also i'm trying to get the other spindle in but i can't compress the controll arms together enough, should ibolt up the bottom first and then teh top or the top first and then the bottom?

ok i got the passengers side all done , but the wheel is way off now do you usually have to get the camber adjusted after a spindle lift?( i also did a TT) also i couldn't figure out how to get the abs sensor out so i just disconnected it for now. is that ok to

You should get a full alignment and have those guys check the camber. Mine was off. Still kinda is (IMHO).
My spindles had the ABS sensor/magnet already mounted in them......
Karl

well i got the drivers side on today so the front is done just have to adjust the torsion bars a lil but my concern is the camber can this be corrected?

do you have to buy a kit to correct your camber? if so what kind and how much are they?

not to many two wheel drives that are lifted?????

yes there are 2wd that are lift and like he said before you need to take it in and they should be able to fix it
