I just finished working on my lastest project and thought I would share it here. Lets see where do I start, It's a lifted 98 Sport, with solid axles front and rear, 4 link coil conversion with a cantalever suspension, 4 wheel steering, 44" tires and max wheel travel.

Just thought you might get a kick out of a different Explorer.

LOL here I was thinking 'wow hes been doing this oslid axle swap and all this conversion without telling anyone!' then its like 'oh... its not real, thats why...' LOL I like, I like! Looks like it could use an alignment though...

No alignment needed that is 4 wheel steering.

Wow! I wish I could make it over a pop can.

Hey Dennis,
That is too cool! :D

Thanks Ray,

Just another little hobby of mine.

You had me going for a minute. BTW, what size are the tires? :)

Tires

Tom,
The tires measure a full 6" tall and 5" wide.
I was just teasine with the 44".

Is that the Quadzilla chasis under there? How do you like it?

thats cool dennis !!!,I was drooling over this rig........
till I seen the pepsi can, hahahaha
thats great stuff

We laugh, but Rick's explorer is probably going to look like that when he's really done with the modifications. :)

Tom,
Rick's won't quite look like that and PLEEEEEEEEEASE don't give him any more ideas. You won't believe the latest one. I'll have to start a new thread for this one.

Chasis

Yes that is a quadzilla chasis it is my second one the first was extended but only two bodies that fit so I got a regular length and I love it.

AWWWW MAN!!!!!!

I was hoping to get mine on here first!!!! Im building up my Kyosho USA-1 just like that!!!! The only thing im doing different, is im doing the exact same color scheme as my explorer. "....and I shall call him......MINI ME!!!!"

If you ever run a trail here in Illinois with us, we'll have to race em!!!!

Is that the parma pse body?

That 1/10th scale right? So really you could say that they are the Firestone 60" flotation tires that they use on bigfoot!! That would have really gotten them drooling!!!

later,
scott

Bull Head

Mine started it's live as a Tamaya Bull Head.
That was before I had a real Explorer to work on. I must admit that working on the Mini Exp is alot easier and cheeper then the real thing.

Bull Head

Riff, Mine is the same color as mine, along with bumpers.

Is it an upgraded chassis from sassy chassis?

Chassis

Yes it is it is a quadzilla IV race chassis.
