There are several light bulbs mounted on the rear of the cluster, and they will burn out.
They are sylvania size 194, available at walmart, and they even come in different colors
You will need to remove the cluster to replace, but it isn't difficult. Just take your time.
Do a search for indiglo gauge install, there you will find several pics showing how to remove the cluster.
Good luck
I'd replace all of them once you get it out. JMO

same with mine... the bulbs by the gas gauge are totally out and sometimes I'll be on E without even knowing it if it's dark outside since I can't see the gauge. Would the change out be the same for a 96XLT as it would his 99?
same bulbs etc? - I wanna fix mine soon.

85-120 is dim on mine. Glad the fix is easy.

yes, 95-01 should be the same
Take the cluster out, you'll see the little brown holders. They twist out( 1/4 turn counterclockwise) and the bulb unplugs from that.
I recommend a second vehicle, so you can count the bulbs and get enough without pulling it out twice
BTW I used red ones, makes the arrows and numbers red at night.

I did the same, eplacing all of my 194's. does anyone know what size all of the other ones are..the ones with the little white connector on the back ?
