i was wondering if there were any mounts on the market that could mount a light to a 2 inch bar without having to weld. i have no welding knowledge, and there is no fab shop around my location.

...You can also go to a muffler shop and tell them you need them to weld a couple light tabs for ya..They could easily make and install them for you for pretty cheap..;)

Or you could fab something yourself if you have a Dremel or something to cut metal.

Now this is an idea I had but get some 2in muffler clamps only a few bucks and then a piece of 1 or 2 Inch angle iron put the clamps on the pipe then cut the angle to whatever length you want and drill 2 holes in it and use some nuts to secure it to the clamps.

Now I haven't tried it, I just had the idea when I was reading this be pretty simple and a lot cheaper than those mounts in the link above.

...Before you go to a shop, you could fabricate your own tabs out of cardboard...

...This will give you a precise idea of what you want and will let you describe what size and placement of where you want them mounted...It would also allow you to shop it around and compare prices, apples to apples..:D

thats a good idea, because i want to mount my hella rallye 4000 fog lights to the top bar of my westin safari bar

im just worried that with having a shop weld it, it will ruin the finish. and then ill have to repaint it

...Having to clean and paint it is a given if it gets welded...

...Also the thickness of your tube could present another problem for welding...You may be better off with those bolt on tabs..;)

thats probably what im just going to do. my ff500s on bottom, and the rallye 4000 on top with the tabs.
