Lights on the side of 3rd High Brake

Can someone tell me what the lamps are on each side of the 3rd or high brake light?

I replaced the brake lamp, which now works. I also replaced the lamp on each side but can't get them to come on. Thought maybe they would turn on with the headlamps.

Cargo lights. I think they come on with the headlights on and the dimmer switch all the way up. I figured it out once but have never used them.

They will not come on with your headlights in the earlier models. Turn your dash light dimmer switch all the way up until it clicks. This activates the dome lights as well as the cargo lights. If I remember right, my cargo lights only come on this way and not just when you open the door like most pickups.
