The only Ford I can think of with a "K" is a Lincoln Mark 5 or similar number.....

Looks awesome, 'Magic! Very clean ;)

Thanks guys, I hope you all come up with something creative for your X's. Look at other models, like the escape, Expedition, and others with seperate letters so you can make up what ever you want and keep it clean!

I thought mine was pretty original, but the only person who ever noticed it made a snide remark about it not matching the original explorer script!

Any idea where I could get ahold of a "GT" in explorer script?? (it's bugging me now, lol)

Spas, I know your GT Explorer thread. I think it looks good. Your truck is very well though out. Everything goes together very smooth and clean. Don't worry about what other people think! They are just Jelous or feel inadaquite, LOL.

No seriously this board has a very wide group of people. From all over the Explorer spectrum. I think for the most part the Streeters appericate the Offroaders. However, the 0ffroaders don't get the streeters, accept for the performance power parts. And for having such a diverse group of people we all get along very well.

Spas, you keep fightn' the good fight and post your pics for us to see and complement!

>feeling all warm and fuzzy :) <

thanx, Magic!

I still think you ought to send your pic in to Ford, maybe give them an idea or two ;)

Spas I'll see what I can do. I was that close to going to college at UofMO Rolla, the M.I.T. of the midwest for automotive engenering. All I wanted to do was design auto's for Ford. But I found that they only take like the top 1/2% of the grads from Major Universitys. So I just decided to get a degree in Interactive Computer Multi-Media instead. I like to design and build things.

Thanks for the complement!

Top 1/2 percent, huh? Sucks for you, but still that's a good thing to know ;) I envy ya-I bet you've come up with some interesting designs!

I was in visual communications, but I can't stand sitting in front of a computer all day...gotta get out and get physical :D

I hear ya! But You sure seem to be on the forum a lot for not sitting infront of the computer all day! LOL Just kidding.

I like to Mountain Bike, Run, Paintball, Baseball, and Soccer. Oh and a couple of other Physical things that I can't mention here.

What do you like to do for Physical activity?

Ok guys, I was thinking about putting an SVT logo on my rear hatch in place of the Explorer logo, but I'm a bit skeptical because it's not really an SVT and I don't wanna called ricer or anything...

Thats what I did in place of the XLT. And yes, I know there is a dent under it.

anybody know if on 95-97s there is a mounting stud hole thing next to the EXPLORER emblem (where mine says XLT)- i want it to just say Explorer and nothng else- but i dont want the hole in my body work...98FordX24- SVT emblems look great...:)

I think there is a mounting post behind the XLT part, but I'm not sure, I'll look tomorrow and post back here. There are three holes total.

thanks for checkin hartman

I got some emblems off ebay from the supercharger TRD trucks or whatever they are on. They are overlayed with carbon fiber and look kinda cool. Once I get them, i will see if I want to use them or not. Nice to see someone else have the guts to put that Police Interceptor emblem on their truck. Mine is so obvious but I get good compliments so it ain't movin. Also, I have the 5.0 emblems on the side and I painted the "." with a plum purple to match all the accents on my truck. If anyone is interested, I have some custom 5.0 Litre emblems that are metal and look great. Lastly, whese can I get that good strong 3M double sided tape that the dealers use for emblems?

I may put these on my truck cause they are different... who knows.

thanks all..

I might actually use these... I also have some TRD ones if anyone on here owns a toyota or knows someone that does. What do you all think about those 5.0 Liter ones in place of the normal 5.0 ones?
