Looking at getting a set of sliders.....

I'm working out a deal right now to get a custom set of bolt-on rock sliders!

Only problem is, I need to know if the frame is the same for all 95-2000 2 doors? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Are you working with Gloria(extreme4x4)? I've looked at a few X's in those years and can't see any difference between the two. Never really took any measurements though. The biggest thing I could see changing is the front mounts. The early IFS systems used a different style of mounting as the later IFS systems. I'll keep my eye out in the parking lots to see some different years and I'll see if there's any changes.

you mean that your rear torsion bar hangers are welded on the frame and mine are bolted on. thats why they only make 98+ 4" lifts right now. but how much $$ are we lookin at for these if ya dont mind. i wold love a set of them since i bust the crap out of my running boards today.

Tarheel- HAHA! Finally realized how worthless the step bars are huh? It looks like they're gonna be around $275 bolt-on. I'm pretty sure your frame is identical to mine,so if you want a set , i could pick you up a set too while I'm there. I'm going to winston salem to get them probably around a month from now.

yeah i realized they dont do jack, especially when you get stuck on them like i did twice. not bad stuck but enough to stop my forward momentum. ill get back to ya when you go up there ill prob have that much $$ by then.

oh yeah what are they gonna look like? like original nerf boards but sliders or just like real running boards?

They look like low-profile running boards. Not sure about the color yet. I'm just gonna get mine how they come because I'm getting them to match the silver trim.

man if there the same color as the trim my parents would definatley go for that! like i said ill contact you when your about to go up there or do you need to know in advance cause i could make that happen as well. man i cant wait! cause i hated gettin stuck, and i was the only one, but i was the only stocker out there as well. i gotta get some pics of this run. dirtydave18 was tearin it up!

Here's what I'll do: get a final quote on the sliders, then get a quote from the shop I'm using to do the paint (shouldn't be much, parents know the guy), then I will just get the money from you whenever, I'll go get 'em, take 'em home and have them painted, then deliver them to you when I get a chance (shipping would be EXTREMELY high).
