OK im going to buy nice set of PIAAs but I dont want to use the switch they give you. I need to find a place that sells lots of auto switches (hopefully online). I am specificly looking for a metal toggle switch with red fighterjet style cover. I think it would real cool. If anyone has any ideas please let me know...

There is a store in northwest Indiana that is called "Army,Navy War Surplus" they would have what you are looking for. I am sure there is a store like that where you live. Good luck and let me know how it works. It sounds like a good idea because I have bumped my switch before during the day time and not aware that my lights are on, so much for the battery when you park and go shopping for a few hours.

By fighterjet type you mean the type that has the red cover over the switch, you flip up the red cover then push the metal toggle switch right? It does exist, I've seen it... :). My local 4-wheeling shop (high country 4x4, sorry no website) carrys them. if you'd like I can call and get an idea on price for you, otherwise may want to do a search using google and find what you need.

I believe if ya check out Dead Link Removed they got the type of switch you are looking for.

http://www.longacreracing.com also has them. Part number 4537
Red flip tops that go over any toggle. I put them over metal toggles I got from Radio Shack.

Someone else who's interested in this! I went on a wild goose chase to find those things, and I found a lot of them in aircraft supply catalogs. Wick's Aircraft Supply carries them if you're looking, although those car places may be a better bet. Just another option.
