Does anyone have a decent subwoofer that they are looking to sell that would fit under the backseat?

no sub for sale but here's some help looking or installing one when you get it. i have a 10" rockford fosgate under the rear passenger seat. I built my own box. its a tight fit. I had to pull the seat cushion and put a layer of plywood under the cushion because people would compress the cushion and sit on the woofer. i needed a little over half a cubic foot of airspace in the box which i couldn't get by just the box so i made another small box which sits under the middle seat and has pass thru's drilled for air to ... pass thru and also is a place to mount the amp. i used silicon on all edges to seal the whole thing up. My advice would be to remove the whole panel behind the seats and build a nice setup back there. Its a pain trying to move mine to fold the seat down and if your sub is any taller than mine you'll have height clearance issues.

audio enhancers makes a box to fit under the rear pass seat, lot easier than making your own and you don't need to modify your vehicle

yea i had seen that and it would have been a lot easier but i already had a box i could cut up from my 95 explorer and it was a lot more fun making it. i didn't see the issue with needing the plywood under the seat until the first person sat in the seat

I would look at some of the new "low profile" subs. I have a sub tube 8" (not low profile) under the rear passenger side seat. It barely fits and in fact I had put in longer screws for that section of the seat to accommodate a slightly higher clearance. It is a powered sub to which I have a Pioneer head unit connected along with the factory speakers. Sounds decent. I am not into extreme bass just a nice well balanced sound. This is an example of what I mean for the low profile sub

if all else fails, ford makes/made one. takes up the left rear seat underneath. not sure on part numbers but the pioneer edition sport tracs have it. i think its a 8 or 10" enclosure.
