Looking for low cost upgrades

Hey all! I am looking for a low cost (100 bucks or less) that i can bump power up with. I am running a 1994 XLT 4 DR Stick Shift :D! If you all know a inexpensive mod i can do to my explorer tell me! :D

Hey! If you haven't done it already, make sure you check out the throttle cable mod. (Not really a power mod, but a response mod.)
Sure made a difference in mine. :)
 






The best "free power" mod you will find is making sure everything is running proper. Free power is a little bit of a contradiction in words...

Mind Explaining how to do it. or linking me to a thread that shows me? I want to do that (I read about it and i thought "i wana do that" but i really have no idea what i need and what im doing.) Thanks :D
 






On your gas pedal, at the top there is a spring with a cable running thru it. If there is slack in the cable before it hits the spring, tighten a zip tie in the gap.

I did it just like Charlie said.
I also did a little on the kick-down cable too. Had to cut one back off of there - had it too sensitive.
But if yours in a manny, you won't need that. :)

So that is it and since i have a manny i dont have to tie up a kick-down cable as gloomis said? AWESOME! ill test that out later today :D Thanks! any other ideas?

Also is it hard to change an air filter? I wana swap that out
