Just noticed some trim that is coming loose on my Explorer. It's on the left side of the rear bumper. Will need to take it service next week to have it repaired.

you can't pop it back on? most of the trim on the car is just held on with clips. there's good and bad to that.

I think is on with 3M tape. I would rather let them mess it. Going to have the other checked at the same time. It moves but not as much.

Well I had it in service today and I was wrong. No tape at all.
My service advisor said that he has seen this before and none have come back again.
So just a heads up on it.

So what was done to correct the issue? :dunno:

They reseated the clips that hold it in place and also checked the one screw fastner that it was tight. Also checked the passenger side while it was there.

Well this issue has come back. And now this time it's on both sides. Had service look at it while I had it in for the driveshaft recall. They are ordering in replacement parts to see if that takes care of the issue. Very happy with my servicing dealer.
