I go through about 1 quart of oil every 2500 miles or so. Granted, I change the oil every 3k, but I am not sure where this oil is going. Plugs are clean, no smoke of any kind from the exhaust. Any ideas? Oh yeah - nothing on the ground either<G>

Jon,

Your problem is probably a leaking intake manifold gasket. If you pull your #5 spark plug out and check it, I would say you would find a considerable amount of carbon build-up on it. This is generally where the intake gasket leaks and it is drawn into that cylinder. If you think about it, you may even notice that you have also had a slow coolant leak. That is another clue that goes along with it. You can check out this link and it will give you more detail. I know it says it is about pinging, but that is where the solution is found. Good luck.
