Loud Clunk When I Accelerate And Stop! Please Help

On my lifted 92 explorer there is a loud clunk from the front end when i come to stop, i cann feel the front end jerk like something slips.. then when i go to take off its like it pops back into place.... i can only hear this when i start and stop.. and when i stop fast it clunks really hard... its been snowing here like crazy so i have no place to really try to figure this out.... please help before i tear it up worse. i is lifted 4in with 33in tires, warn maunal hubs... thanks for the help

If you can feel the clunk underneath your seat, it's the radius arm bushings. I know this because I just had mine replaced at 195,000 miles.

i just had the replaced about 5 months ago thats whats driving me crazy.... i can feel it in the brake pedal and on the floor board kind of
 






Crawl under and see if you can wiggle the drive shaft at u-joints. It's funny how sometimes noise will come from some other area then you thought.
 






I agree with the U-joint idea. my ex had a wicked hum and a nasty clunk from a bad u joint.
