Low beams on my 94 Explorer are shot. High Beams & parking lights work just fine. Fuses are ok. I have read everything from relays, switches, even fused wires in the steering column as being the problem-

Any suggestions out there?
Thanks
Rico

This is usually caused by a bad multifunction lever (turn signal stalk). A new one fixed my problem. Try jiggling the washer part, I bet the lights come back on.

Good luck.

I actually forget, the dealer took care of it for me.

However I dont think it would be hard to replace, give torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com a buzz and see what his price is.

i agree...the fused wires in my multifunction switch caused the low beams to not work unless I frantically jiggles the switch while trying to drive at night

oh, it was rapaired about 1 a year ago. my parents refused to let me drive it if the headlight wouldn;t work

lol t. cops will pull ya over, ya get a warning for it in il

sorta hard to drive at night with no headlights. it wasn't the cops I was worried about...it was not being able to see at all....

LOL Stephen. i have found that to not be a good solution. Tested a prototype unit on my bike first and the first big bump I hit the light fell off. Did not even bother testing it on the X.....
:-D
