Both my low beams went out at the same time while inbound to Mexico during the holiday weekend. Not good. The worst it got was driving during dusk for about a mile with the parking lamps and the fog lights on.

Anyway, with the head light dial turned all the way clockwise (normal on position), all I have is parking lights. The when the turn signal stalk is pressed forward for high beams, nothing happens. High beams work when the stalk is pulled back for "flash to pass".

This has happend before and the dealer swapped the multi-function switch out. I assumed the same and just replaced it. Still no go. It did fix the recurring washer sprayer problem again.

The bulbs have been checked with spares, the mini & maxi fuses have also been checked....

My next plan is to swap the head light switch.

Am I missing anything?

I would say it sounds like the switch.

Update:

The multifuntion switch went bad and caused the rotary headlight switch to partialy melt and therefore malfunction.

I replaced both and it's now working.

Multifunction switch $44.86
Headlight rotory switch $23.90

I also discovered why the light bulb on the headlight switch goes out so quickly. Whenever the truck is running, the light is on constantly.
