Main blower motor has not worked for a few months, so the AC has not been used either. Just replaced the blower, resistor and relay. Blower now works.

However, now when we turn on the AC, the idle is dropping extremely low and cycles between normal RPM and really low RPM when the AC compressor kicks on and off. Sometimes the engine even stalls because the idle is so low.

So my thought is perhaps the IAC is sticking. Since the AC has not been used in months, the IAC probably has not been used since it never needed to adjust RPM from normal. Now that it needs to, it can't because its sticking and when the AC kicks on, the added stress on the engine drops the RPM way low or even stalls.....

So, any other thoughts as to what could cause this and what to check? OR are we on the right track with the IAC?

I have found a few threads on cleaning the IAC, Will give that a try and see if it makes a difference.
