LOW WD and HIGH WD warning lights

I drive a 1999 Ford Explorer. SOHC. 6.0L. 4WD.

Today, the LOW WD and HIGH WD lights started blinking simultaneously.

They blink 4-6 times and stop for a minute or two and then it does it again and again.

I think somewhere on the forum is the cipher for the blinking lights.... there have been numerous situations just like yours. Happy searching!

You need to take it somewhere to get it scanned for codes, specifically drivetrain codes that places like Autozone may not be able to do. You can't decipher a flashing light, its a stored code in the PCM/GEM which needs to be retrieved.
