hi guys Ive been told that i cant get a lpg conversion done because of the obd2 ignition on my 4.0 l sohc anyone done it or know anthing about it
please help payed $1.18/litre the other day ouch

I had my Explorer converted to LPG. Best mod I have ever done IMHO. As far as I know, you can only get it done here in Europe. My conversion was about $2k here in Germany.

I have seen some that run on Natural gas but not LP.

My 99 xlt X has run on Lpg for 100,000km with no problems before I bought it. The old owner had it removed because the wieght of the 100kg gas tank over the rear of the car was causing handling problems once the back was chopped. Here is the details of the local Lpg installer, maybe he can help you find some one closer.

hey man,got my lpg conversion done about 2-3 months back and its the best thing i ever did in terms of reducing motoring costs nearly 2 and a half times cheaper and no loss of performance,its actually a lot better for your engine as it burns cleaner and cut your emmissions by far (mine went from 91 to 63 after converting) my kit is made by bi gas of belgium.you could try...
