Hi, everyone,
After being told that no one can lube parts on my '97 EB that I think need to have some lube (due to persistent low-level squeaking) because they are "factory sealed", and after I then discovered that many folks on this site have indeed managed to lube these parts themselves using a standard grease gun with a syringe that can go under the protective boots or poke a hole in them to get grease at the underlying parts, I would very much like to do the same thing myself.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what any of the following parts look like (and therefore have no idea what to grease up once I get underneath the Ex with the grease gun). Yeah, I'm an idiot.
So, now that that's overwith, could anyone direct me to pictures of the following on a 2nd gen Ex, so I'l know what/where I should be looking for the following and what they look like:
1) tie rod ends
2) ball joint boots
3) CV joint boot
4) torsion rod bushings
I'd also be thankful for hints as to any other parts that probably need to be lubed to cure a low-level persistent squeak that can only be heard when going under 30 MPH and that only goes away when I apply the brakes to slow down.
I've spent my best efforts looking for pictures on the site, but couldn't find them, and I'm really frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
