I took my spare tire down to check the pressure and noticed that where it touches there are little dips in the sidewall of the tire. It is the stock michelin Cross Terrain. I never changed it when i got my Goodyear Silent Armors
, the spare looked brand new so i didn't change it. Besides its rated for 80,000 miles
. Looks like it was used once or twice, cause the little black things that stick out of the tread when you buy new tires are gone, but it shows absolutly no other signs of wear. The installer at American Tire Co. agreed with me that it was brand new, and did not need to be replaced.
Should i worry about the little dips and lumps in the sidewall of the spare tire?
