M5OD Swap, now no 4LO

I finished my M5OD swap yesterday (had A4LD) and now I don't have 4LO. I'd swear I remember reading about something like this before but can't find the info after lots of searching. Please help if you can.

I used the M5OD transmission harness and ECM in the swap.

Just fixed mine literaly 30 minutes ago. Where the trans harness plug in on the fender well on the connector side attached to the fender there is a R/W wire. Splice it into the R/LB in the same connector and it will work perfect. Just done it to mien and it goes into 4 low just fine.

Some guy in your other thread posted the fix and it worked.

I am also swapping in the M5OD.

I am really considering the m5od swap--- My a4ld is giving me fits at highway speeds in the moutains.

Where did you guys get your trannys?

The local LKQ self-service yard.

Foxracin- did you cut the red/white or just jump it over without taking it out of the loop?

I cut it but just making a small jumper will do the same. The R/W wire isnt connected to anything on the trans side of the connector.

I got my trans at Pull-A-Part.
