jwrezz said:Just read this entire thread. I'm a bit confused now. I know MAF's need calibrating, but I thought the PCM was in charge of that? Doug, when I bought the heads and cam from you wow, it's been almost 2 years! Any way, at the time you said ProM would be ok. Now after reading thru this, I'm wondering if any one else can tune/calibrate ProM's MAF? I have it (also got that dumb MafTuner, still sitting in the box since last year), and want to get a Bama Chips SCT tune. Will you (Doug) be able to tune it w/ the ProM that I have? If I keep the ProM, will I be forced to install, and use the MAFTuner? Thanx

Those heads alone would warrent that but add a cam and you're really flowing some air. I can recommend you to a good SCT tuner in your area and if they need any help I don't mind helping them with it either. You can use your Pro-M if you already have one and with a dyno tune you won't need the MAF tuner.
Thanks, Doug.
Josh said:Doug,
What is involved with a dyno tune? Also, I asked a question I think on another post about making a stroker out of the 4.0. Is that possible or is the 4.0 already maxed out?
jwrezz said:Doug, did you get my PM? I asked about the whole dyno tuning thing, and if you could set me up w/ a temporary program until I get that done.
