Hello guys, I'm new to this forums.. Hopefully you guys will be able to help me with this one, I'm in deep hole w/ this one..

I tend to clean my carburetor with "B-12 Chemtool" from time to time.. But this time, when I sprayed B12 into carburetor, a red straw slipped into inside carburetor.. I tried to get it out but it was out of my reach.. I started the engine, it was fine.. Until I started to drive a little bit (for like few feet, literally) and the engine started to shake.. So I turned it off.. What should I do?

Welcome to the forums

First you dont have a carb. Its Fuel injection.
2nd when was the last time you gave it a tune up. It could be that the crap fouled your plugs.

Take the red straw out of your engine somehow? How do you figure it's a carb?

I would do a detailed inspection and see if you can find the straw and remove it with mechanical fingers. My guess is you have sucked the straw into a valve and it's holding it open. If so, it should be a temporary problem. You could take a compression test to see which cylinder is the problem, but I don't think it matters. That plastic straw shouldn't last long. However, if it doesn't smooth up very quickly, then you should consider finding it and removing it. If it is a valve being held open, it won't take much to burn the valve. But I would think it would burn the straw up long before the valve. I can't imagine any residue from the melted and burned straw hurting anything. It should turn to ash pretty quickly and be shoved out the exhaust.

Welcome to this forum! I agree that the type of plastic its made out of will melt, and fall apart. I hope that you used fuel injection certified intake manifold cleaning spray, and not carburetor cleaner.

I suspect the same things already posted... First, if it was the standard length you would use on, say, a WD-40 can, it may still be sitting somewhere in the intake manifold. It would need to make some pretty tight turns in a pretty small space to make it down the intake runner... I'm not sure it could do that.

Second, as mentioned, you do not have a carbeurator. I hope you were not using carbeurator cleaner on it.

Third, if you lost the straw down the intake, what posessed you to start the engine knowing full-well some foreign object could work its way into the combustion chamber?? That's foolish at best, but IMHO, just plain stupid!??!
