Making some shackles - got a question

I found this online for a explorer - does the sport trac use the same shackles as the explorer? Do these dimensions look close or accurate? figured I'd save the money and make these myself. Simple enough.

Yes I believe that will work. I just made a set for my 96 explorer. For mine the stock shackle measures 5.5 inches from bolt hole to bolt hole on center. I made mine 7.5 inches on center which came out to about a 1" lift. The shackle dimensions for the length you are showing are about the max you can do for a lift without affecting the pinion angle too much. The width dimension is unclear in that picture so I'm not sure what it is saying. However, the actual width of your leaf springs are 3" so the interior width of the shackles should be 3" or slightly wider.

The spring width is the same for a Ranger, Explorer, and F-150 so your Sport Trac should also be the same...
