Hello:
I am wanting to swap in a manual transfer case. I read a few items in this thread about it being a common swap, but nothing seemed complete.
Please, someone, send me a link, a website or explain where to get the case and what adapter if necessary is needed.
I appreciate it.

Ty

No adapter is needed. Just get a manual 13-54 transfer case from an Explorer or Ranger. Make sure you get it with the linkage, shifter, tranny tunnel access plate, and all of the interior pieces you'll need to make it look stock.

just curious, i have a manual 1354 that i wont put in untill my auto one takes a crap, my question is.. what goes where the 4x4 buttons are?

In my case a ham radio. :D

In the stock Explorer with manual there is a plastic fill panel there.

tranny temp gauge would look right at home there too :)

Thanks for the help - all I need to do is find one - junk yards, ebay, suggestions appreciated....
So now I need manual locking hubs. I have seen kits for sale near $100. Will these work?
Thanks

You need to look for Warn, or MileMarker manual hubs.
