Kind of desperate at this point and in dire need of help. Last week my clutch pedal seemed super stiff. I pressed on it harder than I probably should have and snapped the push rod on the master cylinder. Ordered a new master cylinder. While I was at work that night I crawled under the vehicle after reading a post on here that said the line disconnecting from the slave could cause the pedal to lock up. Sure enough the line was off of the slave. I reconnected the line and went back to working on the disconnecting the master cylinder in preparation for the new one.

I bench bleed the new master and install it into the vehicle. But now I can not get the master cylinder line to go back into the slave. I attempted to open the bleed valve on the slave and it just pushed back into the bell housing some. It is like there is pressure or something preventing me from inserting the line into the slave cylinder. It has absolutely zero give and Im afraid I may make it worse by trying to force it. Due to budget constraints Im having to perform this work in the parking lot at my work. HELP PLEASE

Push in on the little plunger in the center of the line. If it is excessive pressure keeping you from inserting the line that will release it

Could be that your slave cylinder went bad and is bound up? Tons of pressure
Built up. What happens when you remove the bleeder from the slave?
Fluid should come out and the line should be easy to press into place

Bleeding the slave cylinder in the truck is easy it should only take two or three bleed cycles it only
Holds half teaspoon of
Fluid
