Max Tire's with Lift?

So I have read the RB lift threads and tire size threads and I am so overfilled with info my eyes are crossed! I am putting the 3"/2.5" RB lift on my truck. What is the largest tire I can put under it on the stock 17" rims that will not rub? I would just like to know a final answer...

On stock 17s, 265/70/17 would be a safe bet not to rub - 285/70/17 may also be OK, but i only have the 265s and know they don't rub and I only had the 1.5" spacers at the front.

I've run 2 different sets of 265/75R16's on stock suspension with no problem. With the lift you are going with, that size minimum will be no problem. Or in your case with the 17's, 265/70R17. (I'd try 285/70R17)
