Some can run 31's with no rub, some cant. If you do not want to trim at all (or take the chance of having to) id go with 30's.

what 30's will fit on stock rims? 30x???
the rim s 15x7 but i would imagine i could fit 30x8 or 9 or am i sounding retarted cause i know jack about tires..

30x9.50 Will fit fine... Some 31's will fit, but it depends on the manufacturer (just like clothes and shoes, sizes will vary among manufacturers) and how much your springs have sagged. I run the BFG's and have gotten well over 50K from them on 95% road use...

I'll 2nd that, '96 with stock suspension running 31s (x10.5) and the only rub I get is this serious dip coming down a hill into my neighborhood, but if I take it ~25-30, no rub, and the rub is minimal at higher speeds anyways. You should be fine with the 30s, but you'll want the 31s. :) They fill the wheel well nicely and look sweeter than the 275s which I first ran, and I felt they didnt handle the adverse conditions as well as the 31s.
My $0.02
