Are the MB Acoustics subs any good? I saw an 8 inch for like 20 dollars so they must be cheaply made or something. And if I did get an 8 inch sub, could I just pull out the 6 1/2 and put the 8 in?

BOSTON Accoustics are some of the best car audio speakers you can buy. As for MB Accoustics, never heard of them.

I agree with Skippman, BOSTON Acoustics are some the best that money can buy. I have heard a few different kinds and they are sweet! In fact, when I upgrade my speakers (hopefully very soon!), that what's going in. As for the MB Acoustic's, I am very skeptical. I am firm beleiver of what you pay for is what you get. Any sub that costs $20 either sounds pathetic or won't be able to stand any amount of power before it blows. You are better off going with a reputable brand and not having to worry about it. (I would recommend MTX or JL.)

Hey Skippman, how do those Pro Series Components working out for you? Where did you mount the tweeters?

Chris,

I love 'em! Bought them off a guy on E-Bay. Came out of his wrecked Commaro. He had the original box and everything. I have 2 Pro Series 5 1/4" components up front. The speakers are in factory locations. The tweeter are mounted on the A-Posts, down towards the dash, facing the center of the windshield. Provides for excellent imaging and it allowed me to put the crossovers in the dash itself.
