what discribes exactly the 35 of DANA ?
Subject: 1993 Ford Explorer 4wd front axle Dana35 TTB
regards

Wolfgang

Dana is the corporation that made the differential, the 35 is the output torque rating you add two zeros so the max output rating would be 3,500 pounds on the Dana 35. TTB refers to twin traction beam is the design of the front axle/suspension system on the Explorer. On a side note my father was born in Gudensberg a small town not too far from Kassel, he emigrated to the states in the early 50's on a Fulbright scholarship.

Tank you so much for this explanation. We are talking about this Explorer front axle
in our German forum, so now we learned a bit more about this twin traction beam
suspension.

regards

Wolfgang
