whats some good measurments for a 10 inch sub box? sry for the nob question i'm really new to makeing box's

Well depending on SPL or sound quality, your looking at any where from .5-2.0 cubic feet. Just a guide line.

if you want to save on space build a smaller box like 0.5 then add a bit of poly fill to make it seem bigger

right now i'm makeing the box an od shape to fit in my jeep but here the measurements.......... it's gonna be a retangle the front side of the box where the speaker is going is 12" by 12" good for a 10"sub?

the sides are 12" tall and 9" wide haven't figured out how i'ma gonna make the top yet any ideas......does this sound like my ten will work properly in this box?

Just measure the inside dimensions of the box. Length x width x height in inches. Then divide that total by 1728 (1 cubic foot 12x12x12). That will give you an inside volume in cubic feet. To be truely accurate in your measurements, you would have to subtract the volume of the speaker inside the box, but this is not sometimes used in box volume calculations.

You also have to account for any internal bracing or port displacement as well.

What subs are you running (because just about every manufacturer's "recommended internal volume" is different)
