Great looking install. I've been toying the idea of installing one myself for a while now. Now that I've seen it done more than once I might be able to talk myself into getting off my butt and finding one to install.

Not exactly true. I rode in a '95 Sport with the Expedition package (a Sport package only available in '95 that basically added all the stuff in the 4-door EB package) and it did have a message center. You could ask a dealership for the part number for the message center in a '95 Explorer Sport Expedition and compare it to the number of a '95 Limited and see if there is any difference that might be because of the fuel tank size.

If you have the complete harness out of a same year model, can you swap the entire harness instead of splicing? (i.e. 96 eddie bauer and 96xlt)
