Yes. He worked for the Ford supplier who is supplying Sync3. He no longer works for that supplier.

Whether it cost him a job eventually or not everybody now knows that Ford doesn't really care about customers not even offering upgrade to SYNC 3 for those who willing to. It could've been additional money for Ford as well as adding a Nav after delivery.
Ford needs a new open-minded VP!

Well, It could change Ford's positioning on the market completely if they would.
