How do you check what version of MFT you are running?
I just recieved my XLT on the weekend and the MFT works awesome so i am curious.

Go to www.syncmyride.com and register there. Then you should be able to see the software that you have installed, once your account has been created.

Hi, MRGOLF!

Congrats on your new Explorer! You can check your software version under the Update & Customize tab on SyncMyRide.com. The latest version is 2.11. Your dealership usually creates an account for you while you're at the dealership, so check your paperwork if you don't remember your login and password.

You can also check it in your vehicle by doing the following:

MENU > HELP > SYSTEM INFO > CCPU S/W VERSION: 4.23.11134

If it matches the above number, you are at the most current version.

Your last option is to send me a message with your VIN and I can look it up for you

I was hoping you could check it in the vehicle.
I have the latest version and it seems flawless.

I had the dealer upgrade my MFT to 2.11 and initially it was fine. Now about 60% of the time when I turn off the ignition the MFT stays on for up to 2 minutes. Then when I get back in and start it, the screen just displays what was there before.... no sound from the radio and all touch functions are frozen. If I turn off the ignition and restart it usually goes to the Ford startup screen and come back on.

I sure hope there's another update coming SOON!

Pull the fuse # 29 and then put it back that should fix it !
