Well, I prefer an AT..Normally you will get better tread life, less noise, and better handling on the street..After running with the Fl. Club, the BFG AT will hold it's own in any given situation..Hope it helps...
I personally think the LTX M/S is the better tire..even for all-terrain use, but especially for bad weather and general street use. Its got tons of sipes and four water channels which seem to help in mud as well as rain and snow. Even in massive blizzards and downpours these work wonders..for me anyway.
well, both the a/t and the m/s are excellent tires. i also believe that the two have the same 70k mile warrenty. my advice is to get the tire that suits your needs the best. for me, i would go with the a/t because i well feel better with the thought i had the added traction of an all terain tire. good luck with whatever you choose.
Depends on the driving you do, if it's mostly city/highway go for the M/S, and if whelling a bit more the A/T's. Like Anime says the M/S will give very good traction, I've had some on a 94 caravan as a fleet van, they lasted 3 years at 50,000 KM a year. Next set of tire for my 94 Ex will be those, I dont do enought wheeling to justify A/T's, plus noise will be down with M/S
I have the XC LT4's and they bite hard---on and off road.
In my opinion they are better than the LTX AT's that are on my mom's Blazer. The LT4's grip wet pavement and mud better--but some of that may be because of the vehicle that they are on. I also have 265/75/16's while she has 235/75/15's so that could be the difference too.
