michigan mechanics?

ok.. i need to replace upper and lower ball joints.. anyone here ever done that in michigan? the shop in town *(the only one in the town im in)* wants 800 dollars for all 4... well.. i cant afford that madness...


anyone here ever done them? ive got 400 bucks for anyone who is willing to do them.. i'll help.

Take it down to South Division Auto, They did a lot of front end work on my Ranger and were pretty decent. I havnt had the Explorer in there cause it hasnt had any problems. There are a couple front end shops in town, just look in the yellow pages and call em up.

yeah i've already got the parts.. i just cant afford the 400 dollars labor.. so yeah.. if you can help me SSIKORA or if you know of anywhere to do it for about 150 or so.. that would be awesome..


oh yeah SSIKORA.. if you wanna come do it or have me come to you, i'll buy dinner, beer, etc.. anything to help out.. like that.. i have college ripping at me for 1000 bucks by monday, so i am TOTALLY broke now.. but i could come up with a hundred or so....

I really don't know when I would have time to help right now. I have been working around 60 hours per week...so it's been a little hectic. I just called my mechanic (I've used him many time through the past 7 years and do trust him) and he said $290 to have them installed if that helps. I really wish I could help ya out right now, but it's tight.

is that just for labor.. good willy willickers... i cant swing that.. man oh man.. i dont know what im going to do.. maybe i can figure it out... or my brother can take it to school.. he's in an automotive program..
