Mickey Thompson Radial

Hi.
I haven't seen the M/T BAJA Radial MTX mentioned on this site, so I thought I would just say that they ride great and look even better. I think this radial is new (they make mostly specialty off-road tires that are bias-belted) and made expressly for light trucks like the explorer. Very happy and ready for winter in Chi-town! I'm putting on a set of Mickey Thompson baja belted HP tires (all-terrain use) hopefully this weekend, or next weekend. Also within the near future I am getting a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. Talk about meats! Dead Link Removed
I'll let you know what I think of them once installed - I'm looking forward to having all-terrains again, as fun as it is to hum down the road with mud's, it'll be nice having one set of each.

ok correction, I now have a set of MIckey Thompson Baja Belted HP tires sitting in my garage waiting to be mounted. My initial impression of them is that they seem, for all-terrains, to have a lot of grip (looks that way anyway). Has sidebiters even on the all-terrains and they look like they'll be good off and on road. Can't wait to test em out!

What size M/T's do you have??? I am looking to put 30"x10.5's if the will fit - may go 9.5's if the others are too wide.

I have the Baja Belted tires. Can't wait to hear about the Claws when you get and try them out! Are you going with the Radials? I am going to either the Claws, or the MT/Rs depending upon the feedback that is given over the next couple of months.

Rick - I have on there right now a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Belted HP tires (basic all-terrain tires) and within a few weeks will be adding a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Claws on some Mickey Thompson Challenger (probably) wheels. I'll let you know what I think of them once I install them. I may be taking the all-terrains on their first four-wheeling adventure in Kansas thsi weekend, so we'll see how those all-terrains do!
