I know the recomended tires is 235/70R16 , I have (4) new 215/70R16 tires from my wife's Toyota Rav that she no longer has. With the price's of tire's these days I would like to use these tires on my Sport Track, Would it effect the automatic traction control? cause adverse handling? or Other ? Thanks Dave F.

You'll be decreasing your tire size by about 1". There is a lot that goes along with that - such as all your stuff becoming about 0.5" closer to the ground, etc. And your CV angles will probably change a bit.

All in all, you could probably do it, but you'll need a tire size reprogram from the dealer (uhhh, like $70 I think when I got it, maybe, I dunno).

Also, make sure those RAV4 tires will fit on your ST wheels ok (rim width is mainly what I'm worried about) or if you're using the RAV4 wheels and tires when make sure those work.

I think it will look awful silly with smaller tires, but it's your money. The speedo will read somewhat faster than you are actually going. I'd say sell them and put the money toward new tires for the Trac but speaking from personal experience, it is difficult-to-impossible to sell used tires on Craig's List or whatever.
