mmmmm...LIMO TINT!!

Well, my truck is currently at the "home of the tint and alarm special" I had to get my window replaced, so I took it by a window place, got it in, and the window tint place was right down the road. I figured I'd stop in and get the low down because I've been wanting to get it tinted anyways. Next thing I knew I had to call my dad to come pick me up because I got a tint and alarm special . 35% on the front windows, limo tint all around on the back, can't wait to see how it turns out. Now that I've got this, I get to install my new head unit and put my subwoofers back in, so needless to say, I'm pretty excited. They're already done with the tint, I just have to wait on the alarm. I'm gonna get my dad to bring his digi cam so I can get some pictures and I'll post them here hopefully later tonight. Can't wait to see it!!!

wow.. limo in the back.. good luck backin up at night.. i had trouble with my 20% over my factory tint on my old x, i might go with 20 on the front and 35 over the back for my new x and throw on some reverse lights.

Limo tint all around in the back isn't that bad. I have had 5% for about 6 months and it isn't much of a problem. Daytime your fine, at night use your mirrors more ... and maybe put some brighter reverse lights in.

Yeah, I've been thinking about putting brighter reverse lights in anyways. I figure if I really need to see, I can always pop the rear window for awhile. I use my mirrors mainly for backing up anyways...

Alec, yeah, Mother's. They did a great job. I have to let it "dry" for 3 days and can't roll down my windows, so I'm gonna get some pictures after that. I'm pretty happy with it

The hardest part about backing up with limo tint on the rear is in parking lots where cars don't have their lights on....

Ive got 5% on all my windows, and its really only hard to see out if there are no streetlights in ur area, and be twice as careful about looking about pedestrians when in intersections.

Good question Section...my dad ended up taking his digital camera back cause it was messed up, so I've been waiting for my friend to get his sisters. Oh man, I wish I just had 300 bucks to throw down on one...

Hydroxy, it was both for 250 bucks so I don't know how much the tint alone was...

$250 for alarm AND tint?! is that with labor? My estimate was $225 for all the way around incl. install.

yup, includes labor. i think i paid something like 263 bucks after taxes...

It's ridiculous backing out of a driveway at night with a big ass boxed work van in your way you can't even see if a car is coming with my limo over stock.. geez

I actually haven't had any problems backing up at night. It's pretty dark, but I can see through it pretty well, and no big problems that I can't roll down my windows for... Though I haven't had a boxed work van in my way

can you see ok with those tints? i had trouble wtih 20% over the factory ones..i can only imagine how dark it is with 5% over the factory...looks good though
