Sorry guys, count me out, I've had a change of heart and have decided that I'm going to go the low and fast route instead of the big slow route, I've come to realize that slow just isn't in my nature right now.

just get another explorer and go fast with that one. I had planned that with my Limited.

Im in! Just need to call and make my reservations!

If the diesel fuel prices get much higher, I won't be able to afford the trip.:fire::( Right now prices are averaging $4.25 ($3.97-4.53)

Any ideas of what trails are going to be run in the different levels?

Tim

ok, so after thinking and such... i think im in. probably end up bringing someone else, but for now just me. right now im not 100% sure, well see where gas prices go. a really solid maybe.

Dude could you be more ambiguous? :D I hear ya as far as gas prices  as does everyone here. It's a bummer they way they've gone I'm sure they affect everyone's decision of how far they can afford to drive and wheel. We're glad to have you in. Hopefully you can make it and if or when you have 'hard' plans to go PM me if you're interested in caravaning out. :)

I am going to have to go back to a maybe. With the gas prices the way they are going and some one trying to steal my '49 Chevy from my granddad's place, I need to go out there sometime this and move it. I will only be able to afford one long trip this year most likely. And I with the '49 being in the family since it was new I need to go rescue it.

If you go up the 15 to So Dac, Moab is on the way. Make it all in one trip.

Not sure I'll be able to afford to go to SoDak that early though.

STOP MAKING EXCUSES!!! You will be there.

If you need to you can drop the ranajo off here in Junction and I can store it or it and your trailer for you here.

Thanks for the offer, but I need the trailer to haul the '49 and probably the Ranger winches to get it loaded up.

One step closer... We now have reservations at Canyonlands:D

Should I make Saturday night reservations at the Branding Iron again? Any other ideas?

Great to hear that Rick. It wouldn't be the same with out you. Ralph and I are also staying at the Canyonland. Be sure to ask for us so we can be neighbors.

57 days and a wake up. I can smell the burning clutch, engines racing, and the spotters doing their thing. :biggthump

Glad you are coming Rick!!!

.... and the spotters doing their thing. :biggthump

Uh, er... that would be YOU spotting us if the past is any indication!!! :D ;)

(you spotted me on an AZ run and last year in Moab)

I hope to do at least one of the trails with you and Ralph. :salute:

And we need Ivan to man the radio again.
Speaking of which, anybody heard from Gerald in a while?
