Good news! Arizona opened up the vaccine to 55-65 year olds with no pre-existing conditions and I have an appointment for March 4! There is hope after all :chug:

"Don't listen to the Fauci-esque despots, you'll like Moab lots, compared to where you likely live, it'll be hot!"

In.

Arriving to Moab on the 13th, leaving on the 18th.

Staying at the KOA.

For the non-hardcore holdouts - Moab is more than just trails.

Crazy views! Last time I was in Moab 2018, this is some of the views/trails we did.

All accessible via paved road. I'll let you figure out where they are.

Not Chicken Corners.

Chicken Corners?

For those that have stayed at the KOA and tent camped, is there enough room for 2 tents and 2 rigs, on these sites?

I stayed there once, but I do not recall the size of the sites.

Really thinking about making the drive down from WA with the family. We would likely boondock as all the reserved camping seems to be booked already.

My explorer is the least Moab ready of all my rigs but still think it would be fun to check out some trails.

I sure am glad that we enjoyed Moab before the influx of side by sides.

Reserved spots go fast out there. I read that any remote / boondocking sites are 20 miles outside of town. Found this camping map on the UT BLM site.

Thanks! ya we have reviewed the map and have several places and back ups in mind. I'm not to concerned with being 20+ miles from town.

In line for dose #2 right now, the old man that I am ;)

Mike in the "Dr. Jack" pretty sure that's near 'Zuki Hill on PSM/GS/GBR. . . May 2013 (GMPaintman in the Toyota IIRC).

Poor rig got a few more good runs in it, before it's Journey was over.

IIRC? Was it that long ago? Lol

Not just the Yoda & my gal, That's my belly sticking out, on the lower right of the Picture. 🤣🤣🤣

Well Ive been slowly working on my Explorer to get it ready for Moab. Still lots of little things to do and get some local test miles in (havent even wheeled it since installing a new front locker almost a year ago  ) Time to double down and get it done, Kane Creek is calling my name and maybe Steel Bender too.

If we add 70's picture of Rick, can we morph this into "Fro-back Friday. . ." ? ? ?

Anyhoo. . .
