Is it just me or is Explorer modified in the last video in the thread above called "2011 Ford Explorer Video Reviews - 7 Video Reviews of the 2011 Explorer" In video about the off road performace the guy talks about Ford plowing up a field and letting him rip around the field in a Explorer. Look at the front Fascia below the bumper, his Explorer they gave him appears to be all the same height. I do not know about you guys but mine comes much lower on the sides then in the middle and it catches on every friggin parking block. If it has been modief that is pretty cheesey by Ford to have a guy test something off road that you cannot even buy stock for a review.

Only the white Explorer, the main one in that video is stock.

Would removing that lower valence/fascia void the warranty or catch any static from the dealer? I would like to remove mine or cut it to make it even with the center so that I do not hit every curb and parking block.

It just clips off. Had to put mine back in once.

Just to get this out there: this "air dam" is supposed to help you save some gas by diverting some of the volume of air around the vehicle instead of interacting with the oddly/rough shaped undercarriage of the vehicle. Tests (example: those from ecomodder.com) have revealed that air dams in general are very effective in decreasing the vehicle's coefficient of drag and therefore increasing MPG. Just something to think about...
