Modified Stock Intake Questions

I am planing on constructing one of the outlet tubes described in the thread "Modified Stock Intake" i was wondering if after I made the tube and attached it and everything would I have to let my X (92 sport) run for a half hour, reprogram the computer, or something like that. And if I do how do I do it? Thank you in advance

You don't need to do anything, the computer will gradually re-learn the new parameters... Unplugging the battery for 10minutes resets the computer's memory so it immediately starts re-learning the new parameters. Basically the learning curve is slower for vehicles that have history within the computer. The less history the quicker the computer makes the changes...
