Module Plate??

Okay well yesterday me and my boyfriend noticed my car was leaking something. and then well today my car started to kick when i would turn the corner and then hit the gas and when i would stop at a stop sign it wouldn't drive when i needed to go. i had to turn the car off and then back on to go. so my dad looked at it and saw it was the transmission fluid leaking but my dad knows nothing about fords, so i took it to a family friend and he said my module plate is cracked. i have no idea what that is and have been trying to look it up all over the internet and cant find it anywhere.. so does anyone have any idea what a module plate is and how much a new one or used one will cost??

i've never heard of a 'Module Plate'.

there's a shift modulator, shift solenoids,

could he be referring to the Valve body?? if so, that won't cause an external leak.

you may want to have him explain what he ment by 'Module Plate'.

also, where is the tranny leaking from??
