2003 Eddie Bauer
Good morning gents and happy turkey day.

I have 2003 Eddie Bauer Explorer. The headlights are developing moisture behind the plastic. I checked carefully and there are no cracks or other apparent openings. Is this fixable or do I need new headlights? How much do they go for? I can't imagine where the opening is that is allowing moisture to get in.

Thanks

There’s an issue with where the bulb goes in, or the seal between the front plastic and the back.

Usually $45 from a wrecker, but always compare against Amazon.

So if the gasket comes on the bulb, if i dry it out and change the bulb, will that solve the problem?

If that’s the leak. I think mist leak due to a failure in the lens glue.

There is a vent too but if they are dirty looking inside the glue joint has failed

You can get new ones for as little as 50 a pair on eBay

Better ones for 100 like black out etc

Best spent 100 $ bill thus far

Here is a how to video to find a leak and fix it cheaply, if you want to opt for the more "professional" look, a new headlight could be bought off of sites like rockauto or most yards for 30-50 bucks
