...Time to quit playing Hockey if it's interfering with wheeling..:D

...Be sure to tell your dad I have a nice comfy passenger seat if he gets tired of that old worn out original seat you make him travel in..:p:

...Maybe we can get some good shots this year of the Desert Blooming..:D

Sorry to hear Paul, heal up quick!

Thanks Brian. Already feels "pretty good", but hey, I'm still on Oxy, so what do I know . . . Not sure of the length of the re-hab, but think its 4-6 months for full function. Still not ruling out Moab, but if I make it there will go for the scenic runs instead of the hard-core (or for me, "medium-core" stuff). . .

Have fun.

..Waiting for Brian1 with new revised date/plan and this just became stickied..:D

..Since we will be heading East this year and then for those who want to meet up on the Colorado River, we could head back West if we have some interest..

..Talked to Brian1and he is off wheeling in the Chile Challenge this weekend so we will update the first post when he gets back to town..

...It will be edited for the way we are heading this time, East to West, but I may also lead another group West to East If there is interest..:dunno:

..A couple items that might be on this East to West adventure..

..We have plenty of room on this trip since it looks like it's just Brian and I going...:biggthump

..Brian..That spot looks like a little oasis and it has a nice rock marked in red just to pull our trucks up on and take flex shots..:D

I think the mini rock will be gone when we get there :p:

I think I want to add the Desert Megaphone to the itinerary. It is located just south of the Rassor OHV area. http://www.mojave-road.com/desert-megaphone.htm

At this rate we may have to make the ~15 mile trip to Baker once we get to the Kelebaker Road crossing to refuel. The only option after that would be Fenner on the day we go to Goffs but by then we will have lots of miles put on :dunno: Not sure if I can make it all the way to the AVI with these side trips.

..I'm all in...:biggthump

..This can become an Exploration of the Mojave to remember..Small group, quick travel, and plenty of time to enjoy stuff...

..BTW...The Baker to Vegas Intnl Leo run will be held in April this year instead of March..;)

Unfortunately I am in Maryland now and couldn't get the time off. but wish I could should be fun.

..We do this area run pretty much annually so perhaps next March you can join us for a run..;)

..It's almost close enough to start watching the weather forecast..:bounce:

..Just under 2 weeks to go and the weather forecast can't make up it's mind..Somewhere between 65-85 during the day...

..Hey Brian...You ready for this trip?...:bounce:

..Oh yea...If things work out I'm going to get some Bilsteins for the rear of the X...Right now all of my shocks are dead so wheeling offroad is great but freeway driving is getting scarrrrrry...

..How do you like yours and would there be anything better out there now I could use for the rear?..The fronts can wait till after some other front fab work..:D

Oh yeah Im ready! I have been doing tons of "prerunning" in Google Earth marking the tracks to take and looking for cool stuff to see.

I do like my Bilstein 5125s. The only thing that would be better is to get the ones with remote resi to get the extra oil/nitrogen capacity but so far so good on my shocks. The fronts on mine wont clear the resi though but ui think in the rear you could fit them.

..If you could keep an eye out when you are roaming around your Fab shop, see if you have any tall jack stands..

..I need min. 24" for the Ranger and min. 36" for the X...I've been looking for months out here and can't find any that are tall enough and figured if you had some you weren't using you could bring them out with you...For $$ of course..:D
