So it's been raining here in my part of SC for the first time since I bought my white truck, and, of course, the moon roof I like so much is leaking, ruining the headliner as I type, the sliding cover already has a bad fabric sag in it (any patches to put that back up)? What do I do precisely about it leaking? I need an ASAP fix that will stop the leak, save the liner and any ideas on fixing that sliding cover?

I feel your pain, I have two with small leaks now. I taped over the seam of the sunroof on each when I discovered the leaking. The most likely cause is one or more of the sunroof drain hoses. I've seen people report a split in the rubber hose at the top connection, and some had a hose just come off of the nipple. In every case though you have to drop the headliner to see what's going on.

I'm also wondering if the roof rack rivets might add to any leaking, but mine are both at the front headliner near the sunroof.

Believe it's a drain, it's mostly confined to the right front corner, I do want to get the headliner redone, but I at least want one in there to start with. The truck is almost identical to my 99 and it's got a value to me that money doesn't really cover, so the leak got me off guard.

Park facing uphill ;). I had no idea i had a drain issue until i backed into my sloped driveway and tried to go for a beer during a hurricane...

Tape over the seams for a quick fix. Use electrical tape (not duck tape). When you remove the electrical tape use some WD40 to remove a glue remnants. If you use duck tape you'll kick yourself when you remove it.

There are 4 drain tubes. Two in the front and two in the rear. The front 2 go down the "A" pillars and the rear 2 go down the "B" pillars. The drain tubes tend to come off the tray pan. They rely on an friction fit. They need something mechanical, like hose clamps.
